How Santa Got His Christmas Tree
Author(s):
Tim Kelly
There's big excitement in Santa's toy shop. Santa's helpers are building new toys and the mail is piling up. Mrs. Claus has sent for a Christmas tree. Santa has always wanted one, and trees don't grow at the North Pole. Unfortunately, those two nasty toymakers, Sneaky and Stingy, are banished from Santa's Village for shoddy workmanship. To get even, they steal the tree from the mailman. They won't give it back unless Mrs. Claus surrenders all the toys! Happily, however, Sneaky and Stingy repent, and Santa gives them new names to live up to: Loyal and Helpful. The toys are saved, and Santa's tree turns out to be a living tree that can be enjoyed year after year.
